Riverlights and Pulte Homes Announce Plans for The Haven, A Low-Maintenance Neighborhood
Riverlights, the 1,400-acre master-planned community managed by Brookfield Properties and situated along three miles of the Cape Fear River, has selected Pulte Homes to be the exclusive builder in The Haven, a new neighborhood of 151 low-maintenance homes designed for active adults and busy professionals. Two model homes will break ground later this year with completion and presales expected in the first quarter of 2024.
The Haven will feature single-story ranch style homes with Coastal Craftsman architecture. Seven distinct open floor plans will be available, offering two-, three-, and four-bedroom options ranging from 1,345 to 2,838 sq ft, each with a 2-car garage. Options include outdoor entertainment areas, flex space to accommodate a study or media room, and a second-floor loft-style bedroom.
Homes in The Haven will assure a low-maintenance lifestyle with lawn care included. Residents will also enjoy access to the extensive amenities provided at Riverlights, along with future planned amenities including pickleball courts, a second community pool and club house, and a fitness facility.
“Pulte Homes is excited to expand into the award winning Riverlights community with our consumer-inspired ranch floor plans,” said David Carrier, division president of PulteGroup Wilmington. “With our Riverlights’ Del Webb community completely selling out this year and Pulte’s strong single-family home demand, we see the need for low-maintenance single-story living in an amenity-rich community, such as Riverlights. We are confident The Haven will fill an important need for Wilmington’s real estate market.”
“Pulte Homes and Riverlights have a proven track record in delivering communities that homebuyers are seeking,” said Nick Cassala, vice president of operations for Riverlights. “Riverlights has thrived as our masterplan includes a great diversity of home offerings to meet the needs of every lifestyle and stage. We have seen that the age-qualified neighborhood is particularly popular and are eager to introduce The Haven that will appeal to buyers seeking low-maintenance living.”
