If you are new to North Carolina, you are about to experience “NC Winter,” which is six or seven days of cold, maybe some ice and snow. Weather reporters will delight in threatening snow. It may snow, it may not. But it doesn’t matter how much snow is predicted -- we’ll all freak out because we don’t see snow often.
