Five Reasons You Won't Want to Miss the Parade of Homes at Riverlights
It’s the most wonderful time of the year...The Wilmington Cape Fear Home Builders Association Parade of Homes! Riverlights is this year’s Showcase Community, and you better believe we have plenty of family-fun activities lined up.
What is the Parade of Homes you ask? It is the perfect opportunity for home shoppers to explore a variety of new homes from local builders, and enjoy food and fun for everyone.
In fact, we can name five reasons you won’t want to miss the Parade of Homes here at Riverlights.
5. Outdoor Games & Fun – If you’re taking a break from checking out model homes, you can challenge your friends to a game of giant Connect 4 or watch a talented artist create a chalk masterpiece. Don’t forget to pose for photos with the amazing 3D chalk images that will be created right before your eyes.
4. Live Music – Bust a move or just relax while listening to live music and enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
3. Pop-Up Market – Ability Garden will be selling plants to add some green to your space on Saturday April 24th. And, on Saturday, May 1, Riverlights will be hosting a pop-up-market on model row to showcase some wonderful local vendors as well as our very own Marina Village tenants. You’ll find a little something for everyone from favorites including Plant Outpost, Burly Boards, The Woman’s Place, Zia Boutique, Shore Break Bikes and more.
2. Mouth Watering Food – Each day of the Parade of Homes, Riverlights will have yummy local food as you spend the day touring homes.

1. The Homes! – Our number one reason, of course, is the homes themselves. We have six stunning models from five fantastic local builders on display for both weekends from 12pm-5pm. So come stroll through, and maybe find the perfect one to call home.
