Wilmington, or as the film industry calls it, Wilmywood, is known for being a location where many famous movies and television shows have been filmed. We decided to compile a list of 10 movies that were filmed right here in Wilmington.

This Sunday, September 5 is known as the International Day of Charity. There are countless nonprofit organizations in our local area that always need volunteers, and we've highlighted a few to get you started! Remember, there is no better feeling than giving back to your neighbors.

This Saturday, June 12 from 8:30-11:00 am, we are partnering with Cape Fear River Watch to clean up the Riverlights lake trail and the Cape Fear River Edge. The event is part of the Great American Cleanup.

Friday Nights at Riverlights, an open-air market, returned to the riverfront community last week for its fourth summer in a row.

Start your 4^th of July holiday weekend with a live concert in Marina Village at Riverlights! As part of our annual summer concert series the Imitations will be performing at Live Oak Commons on Saturday, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Riverlights has officially welcomed 500 families! To kick off our celebration, we asked residents & area neighbors to vote on three nonprofits to receive $500 each.

Over 800 cheerful Wilmington residents attended the RiverLights Holiday Festival of Homes and raced through the decorated Dashing Thru the Glow 5K course on Saturday, Dec. 2. Riverlights hosted this second annual holiday event to celebrate the merriment of the season for the Wilmington community to enjoy, while marking one year of the community’s official open.
